BASIC PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF POSITION Review engineering changes for Parts issues and assure that new or revised information is reflected in Parts’ related documents. Extract information from various systems to assure consistency and to research any needed actions to improve information delivery to our dealers and customers. Improve KTC’s Service Parts operations by assisting customers, dealers, and Divisions who submit Parts inquiries. PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES: This position does the following in accordance with all applicable Federal, State and local laws / regulations and the Company’s policies, procedures and guidelines:Participate in research, extraction and entry of complex data while collecting and auditing information. Identifies and resolves errors in database. Focus on data integrity and data clean up.Act as primary interface between various departments, vendors and sister companies in order to obtain accurate data.Provide telephone support and resolve reported parts inquiries by clarifying, researching and determining the root cause of the issue and then taking action when possible, to prevent it’s recurrence and eliminate future phone calls.Review Bulletins, Engineering Releases and change notices prior to their publication to prevent any parts related issues, and, after release, to take or communicate necessary actions to update information Parts related publications (K-PAD, Global Notes, Quick Reference, Parts Bulletins, etc.) Initiate action or seek approval to make changes which will improve the knowledge base KTC provides to its dealers and customers about Service Parts.Extract data from SAP and other systems to assure consistency and collect data for analysis. Use Excel and Access to merge and analyze information from multiple sources.Assist in development of on-line training on Parts related topics.Assist in preparing and submitting EPC information on local options to KBT (for K-PAD inclusion). MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree from a four-year college or university preferred:In lieu of a degree at least 5 years related experience required. Automotive or tractor experience preferred. With a degree at least 2 years of related experience.Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office.Ability to interact and communicate with internal colleagues as well as internal and external customers.Knowledge of SAP is a plus. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Typical office environment. DISCLAIMER:The information provided in the description has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed by incumbents within the classification.
