KS StateBank is Hiring a Records Management Imaging Clerk I Near Manhattan, KS

Position Description:

The Imaging Clerk I will be responsible for performing record management functions with a high-level of detail and accuracy according to established policies and procedures. They will work with the Imaging Clerk II within the Records Management Department to learn technical functions and workflow timeframes. The Imaging Clerk I will achieve objectives required and meet department standards.

There is specific training given on operational procedures for images such as inserting pages or replacing documents in the database, Synergy; indexing and cross-indexing; deleting; learning document types; using best judgement calls on documents needing more information and prioritizing work among other subsequent duties as necessary. As such, the individual will need to establish and maintain an understanding of all Records Management policies, procedures and standards.

This position will require learning various software programs as well, such as Synergy Capture, Synergy User Client, OneSpan Sign, PaperStream, SilverLake Xperience, MS Excel and Cabinets, Documents and Indexes within these programs. The Imaging Clerk will direct questions most commonly to the Imaging Clerk Team Leader on help with judgement calls and any additional or enhanced training needed. They will support the needs of the department workflow and other departments needs as addressed to ensure consistency throughout the bank.

In order to be effective, the Imaging Clerk I must understand operational aspects of KS StateBank and the importance of open communication amongst all employees. He or she will work closely with each employee within the Records Management Department and occasionally other employees throughout the bank in the completion of duties.

This is a full-time position; Monday through Friday 8:00AM to 4:30PM. Wages start at $15-17 per hour.

Job Responsibilities:

It is the responsibility of the Imaging Clerk I to be accountable for their duties and workflow. Stay on track with the departmental timeline standards. Make the Team Leader aware of adjustments that may be needed in the team workflow as well as complete assigned projects as applicable.

Responsible for accuracy and completeness of document index information

Assist other Imaging Clerks when workflow timelines are close to not being met

Conduct research, analysis and corrections as requested

Possess good and sound judgement; adapt to change and represent the bank in a professional manner in conduct and dress

Assumes responsibility for related duties as required or assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

High School Graduate or GED required; technical or traditional business college degree preferred

Data Entry training is required. Knowledge with Microsoft programs is a must. Previous experience in a banking or financial institution is preferred but not required.

Becomes skilled in the basics of the following software programs: Synergy Capture; Synergy User Client; OneSpan Sign; PaperStream; Xperience; Silverlake (Core System) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word; PowerPoint; Excel; and Outlook)

Use good judgment when sharing information and maintaining confidentiality

Extreme attention to detail and the ability to multi-task with interruptions

Positive and professional communication skills, both written and verbal

Work effectively as a team member and independently. Commit to the overall departmental standards and objectives

Uses available resources and training opportunities to improve personal performance and ability to contribute to the company

Ability to sit for long periods of time

Maintain confidentiality with sensitive information

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for long periods of time

Able to view a computer screen for long periods of time

Must be able to speak and listen clearly both in person and on the phone

Fine visual acuity to read for accuracy

This job may require lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally, 10 pounds frequently
