Overview

KBRA (KBRA Holdings, LLC) is seeking an intellectually curious and result-oriented financial planning & analysis Senior Analyst to provide decision support and analysis during a period of rapid growth. This individual is responsible for assisting with budgeting and planning processes, financial modeling, as well as general support for KBRA’s financial management and internal/external reporting. Position is located in our New York office.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the design and execution of scalable and dynamic deliverables, processes, and systems that address key needs of internal and external stakeholders. Technical skills should include strong knowledge of financial/accounting application (e.g., Excel, NetSuite, Salesforce) 

About the Team

The Finance team plays a critical role in enabling senior management to make fast, data-driven strategic decisions through insightful analysis and reporting. The team is responsible for short/long term strategic planning, forecasting, and a variety of other analysis for key stakeholders, including the Executive Committee, Board of Directors, and our private equity sponsors. The team is also at the forefront of MIS transformation.

About the Job

You will be a part of a diverse range of core business activities and strategic initiatives including:

  • Assist in the company operating model, budget/forecasting process, and multiple elements of the Company’s financial reporting to key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Identify and provide trend analysis, and develop reports for executive leadership.
  • Understand sources of change highlighting variances to forecast & budget, risk & opportunities and using insights to drive forecasting improvements for our operating model and long-range plans.
  • Perform critical financial analysis/reporting that provides business leaders with an understanding of key performance drivers, costs and returns of important investment initiatives for the business. 
  • Strong collaboration and attention to detail are keys to one's success.

About You

You will be successful in this role:

  • BA/BS required. MBA preferred, or higher relevant licenses and certification.
  • Three (3) or more years of financial/accounting experience .
  • Possess a general understanding of GAAP and accounting principles, including financial statement analysis.
  • Experience in and knowledge of financial planning & analysis, including management reporting, budgeting, forecasting and technical accounting, including consolidation and multi-currency accounting.
  • Effectively communicate complex financial transactions and strategies and demonstrate financial modeling knowledge and skills with strong analytical, qualitative, and problem-solving skills.
  • Have strong interpersonal skills and ability to be a team player.
  • Effective verbal, written and presentation skills are essential.
  • Interested in process change and automation.
  • Enjoy tackling complex problems with an ability to problem solve through actionable strategy.
  • A self-starter with the ability to multi-task and meet strict deadlines.
  • Ability and desire to exercise independence to achieve set goals.
  • Strong proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel (including build of financial models).
  • Understand and utilize NetSuite and Salesforce (highly preferred).

Salary Range:

The anticipated annual base salary range for this full-time position is $80,000 to $100,000. Offer amounts are determined by factors such as experience, skills, geography, and other job-related factors.
