Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Cashier/Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills and a strong ability to handle cash transactions accurately.

Duties:

- Operate cash register and handle cash transactions with customers
- Scan goods and collect payments
- Issue receipts, refunds, change, or tickets
- Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas
- Resolve customer complaints, guide them and provide relevant information
- Greet customers when entering or leaving the store
- Keep reports of transactions

Experience:

- Previous experience in retail or customer service roles is preferred
- Knowledge of POS systems and cash handling procedures
- Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented approach
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately

Skills:

- Multilingual or bilingual proficiency is a plus
- Experience in jewelry sales, electronics sales, or retail sales is beneficial
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Excellent customer service skills to ensure customer satisfaction
- Familiarity with POS systems for processing transactions
- Proficiency in basic math for accurate cash handling
