KRGV-TV, the ABC affiliate in the beautiful Rio Grande Valley of South Texas, is currently seeking: Sales Account Executive
- Consistently prospect for and generate new business revenue
- Build prospect lists with qualified leads and close sale
- Maintain a strong pipeline of engaged and potential customer
- Identify prospects and paid client opportunities for KRGV’s local lifestyle show, Take 5
- Meet and exceed all revenue goal
- Develop client proposals and produce campaigns for clients based on their needs.
- Engage customers in the full product suite of KRGV, which includes KRGV Channel 5, NRGV Noticias RGV, NRGV Somos El Valle, and KRGV Digital.
- Bilingual is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, advertising, or a related field is preferred.
- Prior digital sales or other related sales experience is preferred
- Wide Orbit, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Drive experience is preferred
- Knowledge of general marketing practices and exceptional communication skills
- Negotiation skills are required
- Attention to detail, willingness to learn new skills and software
- Ability to solve problems and adapt to changing priorities
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines
