The IT Systems Administrator will play a pivotal role in managing and optimizing the organization's IT infrastructure, focusing on Microsoft technologies including Microsoft 365, Azure, Exchange, and Business Central. This position is responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of critical systems and services to support business operations effectively. Additionally, the role will involve leveraging Power BI and SQL for data analysis and reporting to drive informed decision-making.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Microsoft 365 and Exchange Online Administration:

• Manage and administer Microsoft 365 and Exchange hybrid environment.
• Implement and maintain application and email security measures.

Azure Infrastructure Management:

• Administer and maintain Azure infrastructure.
• Monitor Azure resources for performance and security.
• Implement security best practices.

vSphere and Virtualization:

• Administer and support vSphere virtualization infrastructure.
• Ensure high availability and disaster recovery capabilities.
• Troubleshoot virtualization issues.

System Monitoring and Maintenance:

• Monitor system performance and perform regular maintenance.
• Perform system backups and ensure data integrity.
• Proactively identify and resolve system issues.
• Perform regular system maintenance, including patch management and software updates.

Proficiency in Microsoft Business Central, Power BI, and SQL:

• Manage and maintain Microsoft Business Central.
• Utilize Power BI for data visualization and analysis.
• Utilize SQL for database management and reporting.

Security and Compliance:

• Implement security measures and manage access permissions.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including HIPAA.
• Perform security assessments and audits.

Documentation and Communication:

• Create technical documentation and user guides.
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, and Azure administration.
• Proficiency in managing and maintaining Microsoft Business Central.
• Experience with Power BI for data visualization and analysis.
• Strong SQL skills for database management and reporting.
• Familiarity with security best practices and compliance standards, such as HIPAA.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication and documentation skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5 years of experience in desktop support and system administration.
• Certifications in Microsoft, network, or security fields are a plus.
• Experience with Intune a plus
