Kratos Defense and Rocket Support Services is seeking an enthusiastic, versatile, and resourceful Systems Analyst (Level 1) to work onsite at NIWC Pacific in a laboratory environment in San Diego, CA. You will be a Test and Evaluation (T&E) team member required to support development efforts, including design, integration, lab testing, and field testing. You will also be required to interface with customers, other labs, and other program members in other disciplines (i.e., Systems Engineering; Cyber Security; Scheduling; etc.,). You must be innovative and willing to tackle challenging situations to meet the customeris specific requirements.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Coordination with other labs and test sites on the planning of test and other related events
• Plan and execute regression and formal testing in both laboratory and operational environments. Testing includes but is not limited to Design Verification Testing (DVT), regression testing, end-to-end testing, interoperability testing, integration testing, and developmental testing
• Data collection using a variety of lab equipment (i.e., Oscilloscopes; BERTs; Network Analyzers; etc.)
• Lead and support lab test activities
• Meeting coordination, preparation, and participation activities to include development of briefings, agendas, and minutes, preparation and distribution of meeting invites, and other relevant material. Common meeting types: Test readiness reviews (TRRs), system reviews, planning meetings, and problem resolution meetings
• Willingness to travel, as required

Minimum Qualifications:

• U.S Citizen with Secret Clearance and ability to obtain a Top Secret Clearance
• Bacheloris degree in computer science, information systems OR a high school diploma with a minimum of 5 years of analyzing and resolving information technology systems problems
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working with U.S. Navy baseband equipment
• Minimum of 2 years of experience testing in a Navy laboratory or working on military communication systems
• Minimum of 2 years of experience developing, reviewing, and executing test plans and procedures
• Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Must possess strong communication skills, orally and written, to effectively respond to both technical and non- technical audiences
• Must be able to work with a team or independently to support various tasking
• Must be organized and self-motivated
• Must thrive in fast-paced environment
• Intermediate knowledge and experience with MS Office suite, specifically MS Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and Excel. Project a plus
• Experience planning system architectures and identifying issues and risks
• Experience creating training processes and documentation
• Some travel within the US is required
• No performance or schedule gap, key personnel must be readily available to start work

Desired Qualification(s):

• Background in or familiarity with Navy SATCOM and other comm systems
