Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Back of House Team Member to join our team in the food industry. As a Back of House Team Member, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen and providing excellent service to our customers.
Duties:
- Assist with meal preparation and menu planning
- Handle and operate kitchen equipment, including knives, grills, and ovens
- Follow recipes and food preparation guidelines to ensure consistency and quality
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area
- Adhere to food safety standards and regulations
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation
- Support the dietary department in meeting specific dietary requirements
- Contribute to a positive team environment
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role within the food service industry is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects
