KPMG is currently seeking a Server Patching Operator (BigFix) for a twelve-month assignment to join our Digital Nexus Technology organization.

Responsibilities :

• Execute server patching activities according to the defined schedule and procedures
• Coordinate with system administrators and IT teams to identify servers requiring patching
• Use BigFix to deploy patches and updates; monitor patching progress and ensure completion within the designated timeframe
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or errors encountered during the patching process; maintain accurate records and documentation of patching activities
• Collaborate with the IT security team to ensure compliance with security policies and standards
• Stay updated with the latest patching techniques and best practices

Qualifications :

• Minimum three years of recent experience in server patching and using BigFix
• High School diploma or equivalent is required; Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred;

additional certifications in IT or related fields are a plus

• Strong knowledge of server operating systems (Windows, Linux, and others) and their patching requirements
• Familiarity with IT security principles and best practices; excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment; strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately;

good communication and interpersonal skills
