The Role:

The Director will be responsible for market / consumer research, the identification of, and the execution of new business initiatives (i.e., product or program offerings) that will contribute to the growth/scale of the Home Direct to Consumer platform. In addition, the incumbent will be responsible for assessing and utilizing market and competitive analysis, goals of the business and infrastructure to design, test and deploy product feature sets.
* Lead identification and tactical execution of DTC growth / strategic initiatives that position Home as a best-in-class lender, identify key stakeholders, qualify and quantify opportunities/obstacles, build relationships.
 * Locate/propose potential deals through corporate strategy alignment; conduct due diligence/contact potential partners, explore opportunities
 * Screen potential deals: analyze market strategies, deal requirements and financials; evaluate options; resolve internal priorities
 * Partner/provide prioritization of objectives/results with digital, marketing, technology, compliance/legal; create/optimize customer-focused experiential opportunities, establish innovative ways to scale business
 * Lead initiatives across partner platform to develop cross-selling strategic opportunities
 * Partner with Legal, Compliance, and Risk to mitigate risk, ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements. Lead efforts to design product roadmap-both prioritization/release planning tied to overall volume growth, within guidelines
 * Identify new product development opportunities, facilitate due diligence, analyze competitive market data, ensure offerings span entire prospective market landscape
 * Oversight of product development/ongoing improvement initiatives.
 * Achieve/establish growth efficiency goals and provide status updates to leadership on progress, risks, and target opportunities. Key stakeholder for all strategic projects that impact volume targets and growth initiatives

Requirements

* 7 years of progressive leadership experience, within the banking industry, with particular emphasis on mortgage origination
 * Bachelor's degree is required, and an MBA preferred
 * Proven track record of achieving business objectives, particularly during times of organizational change and challenge Excellent oral and written communication skills
 * Skills: Demonstrated ability leading a major function or large geographic segment of a banking organization Significant practical experience in either managing or monitoring a national mortgage origination platform solid risk management skill -- professional track record in managing risk, including credit, operational, and market
 * Proven experience in developing robust governance models including committee structures, policies, and procedures
 * Ability to successfully lead and implement complex projects with short timeframes and multiple stakeholders
 * Thorough understanding of government regulations affecting the area of mortgage servicing
 * Ability to interact effectively with a variety of contacts, including senior management, regulatory agencies and other key external constituents
