KoZaks Laketown Grill is Hiring a Prep Cook Near Smithville, MO

Ko Zaks Laketown Grill and Catering in Smithville, MO is looking for two prep cooks to join our 16 person strong team. We are located on 1018 S Hwy 169. Our ideal candidate is organized, attentive, ambitious, and reliable.

Responsibilities

  • Follow recipes and prepare simple dishes
  • Sanitize and prepare equipment and workstation for cooking
  • Weigh and measure ingredients
  • Mix, wash, peel, chop, grind, strain, slice meat and vegetables
  • Basic cooking functions such as baking scones and cookies, and preparing sauces and dressings
  • Label stock and inventory all ingredients
  • Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas

Qualifications

  • Able to work in a cold environment for multiple hours
  • Ability to communicate and listen to team members
  • Dedicated to working as a team towards one goal
  • No experience required
