We are looking for a part-time chiropractic front desk and patient care assistant in our busy Downers Grove chiropractic and wellness clinic. Job responsibilities include greeting patients, handling the phones, managing scheduling/appointments and providing information about services. You will also be working with some billing duties to include verification of benefits, explanation of charges to patients, etc. as you assist our billing specialist. If you love working with patients in the natural healthcare industry and if you have a knack for detail with good time management, sales ability and excellent computer/technology skills, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, you will help create a pleasant and memorable experience in our clinic.

We are a multi-discipline, multi-doctor 35-year old family practice doing chiropractic, rehab exercise, decompression, acupuncture, massage, MLS laser, nutrition, x-ray, IV Nutrition, joint injections and weight management.

We use ChiroTouch as our EMR software system. So it's a special plus if you have experience with ChiroTouch.

Work schedule: Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 7:45AM-12:15PM

Responsibilities

• Perform patient check-in and check-out tasks
• Manage online and phone appointments
• Inform patients about payment methods and verify their insurance benefits
• Assist our billing specialist around billing duties
• Provide information and education about our services, treatment plans, etc.
• Oversee clinic traffic flow between rooms
• Maintain updated stats and reports

Skills & Experience

• Work experience as a healthcare front desk professional, preferably in a chiropractic setting
• Experience with medical scheduling EMR software (we use ChiroTouch)
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Natural sales ability
• Basic experience and understanding around healthcare billing
• Great time management with an ability to prioritize
• Top-notch work ethic

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
