Position Summary: Korro Bio is seeking a dynamic, motivated, and hands-on leader to join our team as Vice President of Information Technology, This individual will be responsible for the overall management of Korro Bio's fully integrated facility, including IT and systems infrastructure, network, user-experience user experience, IT controls and cybersecurity, This leader will work closely with senior leadership, strategic partners, and stakeholders at all level of the organization to create a technology strategy and roadmap aligning systems infrastructure and cybersecurity, and ongoing investments to support Korro Bio in achieving strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide senior leadership and organizational oversight of IT in a Boston-based facility.
• Provide strategy and counsel to the senior leadership team with the ability to influence outcomes.
• Establish and manage effective relationships with a range of external vendors and service providers, including on-site contract personnel.
• Design, Review, and lead a company-wide cybersecurity program that safeguards Korro Bio IP while preserving organizational agility.
• Develop and build upon the short-term and long-term IT strategy for the company, including the development of an IT roadmap and prioritization of systems to support Korro Bio's strategic goals.
• Provide direction and guidance on technology and data initiatives while establishing strong cross-functional working relationships and acting as a trusted advisor on IT/Facilities matters.
• Oversee and implement IT policies, procedures, and plans for security, data center, desktops, and infrastructure based on industry-standard best practices.
• Lead and direct internal and external audits and inspections
• Build, lead, Manage, and develop a team of IT operations staff.

Required Qualifications:

• A minimum of a bachelor's degree in IT, engineering, science or related technical discipline is required; An advanced degree (i.e., MS, PhD, etc.) is a plus.
• A minimum of 15 years of professional work experience managing IT and facilities operations within the biotech, pharmaceutical, or relevant life sciences industry is required.
• Strong leadership and management skills with experience successfully managing, coaching, and developing a high-performing operations team.
• Passion for leading teams to solve complex problems and a proven track record of leading change management activities and interfacing at all levels of the organization.
• Experience with evaluating, implementing, and managing a Cyber Security program and managing scientific data management platforms.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to influence, organize, plan, negotiate, and execute cross-functional projects from vision through implementation is required.
• Experience building IT operations capabilities in a rapidly growing company where systems and processes need to be designed and implemented.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and organizational skills is required
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities in building, providing direction and motivating an experienced IT team
• The ability to multi-task and manage multiple competing priorities is essential.
• Willingness to partner and roll up your sleeves and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve operational efficiencies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to prioritize, delegate, and present complex subjects in a clear and concise manner is essential.
