Korn Ferry has partnered with a full-service law firm in a search for an energetic Insurance Defense Litigation Associate Attorney to join their midtown New York City office. This mid-level associate would be representing matters pertaining to labor law, construction litigation and premises liability.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
•Research and draft pleadings, motions, and briefs including motions to dismiss and motions for summary judgment
•Represent clients at depositions, mediations, arbitrations, settlement conferences, pre-trial conferences, and negotiations
•Handle entire discovery process, including drafting discovery requests, handling meet and confers, and identifying and working with expert witnesses
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
•Ideal candidates should have 4-6 years' insurance defense litigation experience
•Litigation experience representing construction litigation, construction defect, labor law, premises liability is necessary
•Must be admitted in New York Bar (New Jersey admission also preferred)
COMPENSATION
•$140,000-$155,000 base salary, depending on experience, plus bonus
