Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Leasing Agent to join our team. As a Leasing Agent, you will be responsible for assisting prospective tenants with finding their ideal rental property. This is an exciting opportunity to work in the real estate industry and contribute to the success of our property management company.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct property tours for potential tenants and provide information about available units
- Assist applicants with completing rental applications and ensure all required documentation is collected
- Conduct thorough background and credit checks on prospective tenants
- Prepare lease agreements and ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and in a timely manner
- Coordinate move-in and move-out processes, including conducting inspections and documenting any damages
- Respond to tenant inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns in a professional and timely manner
- Maintain accurate records of all leasing activities using property management software (Appfolio) Ensure pics are up to date and units are posted on real estate sites.
- Stay up-to-date with fair housing regulations and ensure compliance in all leasing activities
Skills:
- Marketing experience
- Strong administrative skills, including proficiency in legal and real estate administrative tasks
- Excellent office organization and file management abilities
- Knowledge of facilities management principles
- Familiarity with property management software (Appfolio)
- Understanding of fair housing regulations and ability to apply them in daily operations
- Exceptional phone etiquette and customer service skills
