Koniag is Hiring a Shareholder Development Specialist Near Anchorage, AK

Job Summary:
Responsible for providing administrative support services for the Records Department and coordination and management of Developmental programs. Duties shall be performed in accordance with the directives of Koniag; policies established by Koniag’s Board of Directors; the By-laws of the Corporation; all binding agreements; and all applicable local, state and federal law.
Essential Functions include, but are not limited to:
  • Provide excellent customer service while promoting good public relations. Ensure all Shareholder inquiries and communications are answered and documented in a timely manner.
  • Maintain Shareholder files and ensure that records are scanned, copied, and properly filed in a timely manner.
  • Maintain Shareholder database with current and accurate information and ensure the integrity of the database and associated files including adhering to established corporate records management practices and schedules.
  • Administer the Richard Frost Youth Scholarship program in accordance with the policies created. Maintain accurate data for reporting requirements.
  • Administer the Good Grade Incentive program. Create a program policy, manage the program, and maintain data for reporting.
  • Assist the Shareholder Records Administrator with the Angayuk Internship program.
  • Maintain being the point of contact for Interns.
  • Perform Notary Services.
  • All other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills & Ability:
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • High ethical standards and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality are required.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization and work well with others.
  • Excellent organization skills and detail-oriented.
  • Culturally sensitive and able to relate and interact with all Shareholders.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite, including Word and Outlook, working knowledge of MS Excel preferred.
  • Exhibit professional work standards.
  • Must be able to pay attention to detail.
  • Dependable & reliable attendance.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Associate degree in business or administration experience preferred.
  • 2 – 3 years of administrative experience.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Ability to pass a background check with a motor vehicle report
Office Location and Travel:
This position is located in Anchorage, AK.
Occasional to frequent travel to Kodiak and other local and out-of-state business sites, conferences, and meetings is required.
Working Environment & Conditions:
This position is primarily indoors, consistent with a standard office position, and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The workload may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
