If you haveforklift and/or warehouseexperience, this is a great opportunity to join a hardworking, supportive, and talented warehouse team as a Warehouse Operator! The warehouse team plays a critical role in the overall function of the Komatsu facility by receiving, storing, and picking the components required to support the 4 major product lines manufactured at our Longview facility.Komatsu has some of the best benefits in East Texas - including health benefits (medical, dental & vision), a generous 401k contribution, annual bonus potential and merit increases.
- Work safe and be an advocate for safety.
- Operate a variety of warehouse equipment including forklifts (reach and stand up, 6,000 - 10,000 lb.), hand cart and pallet jack.
- Loading and unloading a truck utilizing a forklift.
- Maintaining an accurate record of all parts received and distributed.
- Perform move transactions using a scan gun.
- Familiarity with operation of Raymond wire guided forklift.
- Load, unload, move, stack, pick, put away, stock, and arrange material in an accessible manner and according to standard warehouse practices.
- Ensuring cleanliness, tidiness, and safety of work environment.
- Promptly communicating any errors or discrepancies.
- Strategically storing material to maximize storage space within the warehouse.
- Counting and confirming inventory.
- Utilize SAP to do basic research.
- Work experience, preferably in warehouse.
- Ability to operate forklift competently.
- Basic math skills and ability to read a tape measure.
- Successful completion of background investigation and drug screening.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong people skills and ability to work effectively with a team.
- Agile, dexterous, and undeterred by heights and adverse climatic conditions.
- Physical ability to lift 50 lbs. safely.
- Positive work history and ability to maintain solid attendance.
- Available to work extended hours.
