Kokes Properties is looking for a full time Leasing Consultant to undertake the leasing, renewal, marketing, and administrative activities at The Mill at Riverside. The ideal candidate will possess Kokes Properties core values of Passion, Quality, and Accountability. The ideal candidate will have at least some leasing and property management experience as well as technological proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Follow up on leads for potential residents
• Present/show townhomes and apartments to prospects in a persuasive manner
• Provide accurate information on the different features of properties
• Validate application information and references - perform background checks, credit checks and other responsibilities to see if prospective renters are qualified
• Complete leasing agreements
• Present and process renewals
• Assist Property Manager where needed
• Keep abreast of the market
• Monitor community facilities such as package room, fitness center and clubhouse
• Promote and solicit positive reviews

Skills

• Proven working experience as a leasing consultant
• Effective communication skills, including verbal and written
• In-depth understanding of the NJ real estate industry, including laws, policies and best practices
• Proven track record of working with a team
• Basic understanding of MS Office Suite
• Well-versed in marketing and sales techniques
• Customer-focused approach
• Knowledge of Property Management software

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
