A DAY IN THE LIFE OF OUR DISTRICT MANAGER

As a District Manager for Kohler Credit Union, you embody our mission, vision, and values within the organization and our communities. You work to build the best financial services team you possibly can through your exceptional coaching and example. As you develop and mentor your team, you model the high-energy, high-engagement service culture that has made us a success.

You oversee administrative and operational aspects of designated branches, providing them with recommendations as well as implementing improvements. Collaborating with branch managers, you develop and set strategies and drive business results. Additionally, you work with branch operations managers to analyze the security and safety of each branch and implement any necessary changes to policies and procedures.

Representing our financial service philosophies, you participate in community activities throughout the region and promote Kohler Credit Union through networking and volunteerism. You work hard to reinforce our culture of exceptional service and lead by example, delivering exceptional member service with energy and passion. You get great satisfaction out of keeping our credit union's operations running smoothly and efficiently so that our members receive the best possible service.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A DISTRICT MANAGER

  • Bachelor's degree in business, banking, or a related field
  • 6-8 years of leadership experience with a minimum of 2 years in branch management.
  • Knowledge of the credit union movement, policies, procedures, and all branch services and products
  • Knowledge about information relating to financial markets, trends, and industry changes
  • Ability to comply with regulations affecting the banking and credit union industries, including but not limited to the Banking Secrecy Act and the USA Patriot Act
  • Ability to travel locally
