The successful candidate will be able to report to on call requests within 45 minutes of the terminal reporting location.

Our Team Koch Fertilizer, LLC owns network of storage and terminal assets across the Midwest responsible for storage and shipment of anhydrous ammonia and other fertilizer products to customers for agricultural and industrial use What You Will Do

• Troubleshoot, maintain, and operate ammonia refrigeration system, dry fertilizer and UAN storage, loading / unloading systems
• Work with full life cycle of ammonia / UAN / dry fertilizer processes including refrigeration, gas fired heating, instrumentation, PLC control systems, pumps, motors, conveyers, belts and loading / unloading processes
• Operate through safe work practices while storing and moving products by following environmental standards to ensure continuous compliance
• Perform physical job requirements in all types of weather Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
• Live within 45 minutes of the facility Physical Requirements : Ability to pass a pulmonary breathing test Ability to wear a gas mask type respirator while performing the physical job duties Ability to lift / carry up to 50lbs Ability to push / pull up to 135lbs Ability to climb stairs / ladders to work at heights of 25-100 ft while wearing a full-face mask type respirator and full Level A Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) What Will Put You Ahead
• Certification / Associates Degree (Maintenance, Mechanical, etc.), or higher, OR Instrumentation & Electrical experience within an industrial / Military environment
• Previous experience working in an ammonia, chemical, or refinery environment
• Experience with PLC troubleshooting, repair or installation
