Job Summary : Bilingual (Japanese) Administrative Assistant supports Japanese staff and their families in various capacities, as well as provides general administrative support.

This position is a full-time position with benefits, but part-time and intern options may be available. Essential Functions : Provides administrative support for Japanese and other executive staff.

Provides offsite support for staff and their families (including doctor’s visits, etc.). Conducts company orientation of newly arrived Japanese staff.

Provides interpretation at small meetings. Completes miscellaneous translation and interpretation tasks. Prepares all company travel and visitor arrangements.

Job Related Functions : Must be able to read, write, and speak English. Must have effective human relations skills. Must have computer experience (Windows, Microsoft Office).

Educational Requirements : Intermediate to Advanced Japanese ability (speaking, reading, and drafting emails). Previous translation / interpretation experience is not required but is preferred.

Experience living in Japan a plus (study abroad, work abroad, JET Programme, etc.) Cultural sensitivity, initiative, flexibility, and professionalism.

Previous administrative experience is a plus, but entry level applicants are welcome as well. Microsoft Office software. Powered by JazzHR
