- Champion reliability best practices, minimizing downtime and maximizing plant efficiency
- Spearhead corrective and preventive actions to resolve maintenance issues, promoting continuous improvement across all plant operations
- Support and enforce Process Safety Management (PSM), health, safety, and environmental standards
- Craft and manage the maintenance budget, establish clear goals, and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure success
- Oversee inventory management for spare parts and critical equipment
- Design and implement training programs for maintenance staff to ensure high skill levels and performance
- Collaborate with site management to ensure seamless integration of maintenance strategies and reduction of downtime
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with over 10 years of leadership experience in plant maintenance and reliability, preferably in PSM regulated chemical environments
- Strong knowledge of regulatory standards including PSM, OSHA, EPA, and NFPA
- Demonstrated ability in leading diverse maintenance teams and managing comprehensive maintenance programs
- Proficiency in maintenance planning, executing plant turnarounds, and utilizing CMMS
