JOB DESCRIPTION:
As a Project Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful execution of projects within your organization. Your primary responsibilities include coordinating internal resources, managing project timelines, and adhering to the overall Project Management process as part of the overall NYAB Quality Management process.
Responsibilities (Min 5 Max 15):
  • Drive Project execution using SCRUM principles to ensure projects schedules, budgets and scope are met or exceeded.
  • Ensure Project Quality Gates (Q-Gates) are held, and team delivers gate agreed requirements.
  • Predict future planned constraints across development teams
  • Manage SAP PPM Project spend and labor planned vs actuals.
  • Fulfill NYAB Project Management Quality process requirements for all projects.
  • Perform SCRUM Mastering coaching and development for multiple SCRUM teams to improve team overall development efficiency.
  • Conduct Backlog Refinement and Sprint Planning as critical requirements of the SCRUM team
  • Manage project risk and opportunity using a register.
  • Conduct proper project close out to include, project closeout summary and proper lessons learned.
  • Prepare and lead monthy cadence discussions for Projects and EMS Stories for their responsibilities.
  • Manage PAF (Project Approval Form) and PCR (Project Change Request) throughout the life of the project.
  • Ensure all Labor demand with SAP PPM is managed accordingly to the active project schedule.
  • Use Jira to track, monitor, and manage SCRUM team progress to include reporting tools.
  • Perform necessary project “deep dives” based on project classification.

  • Works effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Understands development, design, and PMI processes.
  • Capable of managing multiple projects and communicating extremely effectively
  • Great Presentation skills
  • Has a clear understanding and experience managing high profile, high risk projects
  • Analytical Thinking - Refers to collecting, analyzing, and structuring information using a wide perspective in order to identify key issues and patterns as well as to drawing conclusions.
  • Managing & Improving Processes - Describes the ability to plan, prioritize, monitor, and improve work processes and allocate resources.
  • Strategy & Vision - Describes the ability to develop strategies aligned to the organization's vision, putting them into action and taking a big picture view, considering future influences.
Base Pay Range:
The base pay range for this role is $94,640 USD – $141,960 USD. The company reasonably expects to pay within that range, however, New York Air Brake considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
