Knoebels is Hiring a Games Manager Near ELYSBURG, PA
Games Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Games Department, which includes 24 boardwalk style games located throughout the park and approximately 70 seasonal team members.
Hour Requirement
Seasonal employment, April thru October – Must be available evenings and weekends.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
Recruitment for Games Department, such as job fairs, application vetting, pre-screen math, and interviewing
Develop, implement, and communicate department policies and procedures through Games Handbook/Orientation
Design and update training materials, such as department orientation and game instructions.
Delegate responsibilities to department subordinates as needed.
Organization and retention of team member forms and departmental paperwork
Coordination of schedules for 70 team members abiding by Minor Labor Laws
Continuous communication with team members regarding updates, special events, and department needs
Manage timecards abiding by Minor Labor Laws
Document and report department daily cash flow.
Analyze, address, and document team members misconduct before providing corrective measures.
Respond and address customer feedback related to the department.
Organize and file audit documentation, such as daily totals, daily schedules, and minor break approval paperwork.
Conduct exit interviews to collect feedback for continuous improvement and success of department.
Collect, organize, and validate daily startup cash for each game.
Handle any other operational decisions related to the department.
Staff games appropriately for weather conditions.
Maintain team member dress code standards.
Periodic walk throughs throughout the shift to oversee games operations and facilities.
Education and Experience
HS Graduate
Management experience in amusement industry preferred.
