    Job Responsibilities:
    Answer all department inbound emails including Shops, Breakdown, vendor, etc.; you will be gathering and documenting pertinent information to initiate/create a claim or repair order to repair trailer equipment in a timely manner. As well as notify and facilitate necessary repairs of equipment during breakdown, accident, and repair cycles to appropriate personal such as customers, DM’s, planners, RTM group, drivers, breakdown, vendors, and the public. The goal is to obtain maximum equipment utilization to minimize overall costs.
    • Negotiate directly, all costs incurred during accidents and equipment breakdown to locate and hire the best-qualified vendor in the best interest of the company; authorize repairs within appropriate level of authority.
    • Investigate and review repair orders to recover all warranty/ap corrections possible during the vendor selection and outside repair process.
    • Ensure minimum down time and maximum equipment utilization during the equipment repair/storage cycle or moved prior to end of cycle; report and coordinate with the operations team or shop on all down units to have them moved accordingly.
    • Assess each situation independently and act; accordingly, make effective decisions by gathering sufficient data, documenting clearly, making calls, and asking questions when necessary.
    • Assist in tracking equipment during the repair process, ensuring timely repairs; respond to incoming emails requesting estimates, updates, and creating purchase orders to control payments issued.
    • Act as liaison for internal communications between designated department personnel and leadership representatives, as well as vendors in serious accidents, breakdown, or out of service equipment.
    • Meet all department Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) as indicated by leadership team.
    • Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner which facilitates the success of business operations to meet company demands and expectations.
    • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by leadership including reviewing KTTTMBX mailbox, Monitoring PBI reports for failure trends, Vendor Invoices for cost, and reimbursements.
    Qualifications: What you need to bring
    • Customer service experience required. call center experience preferred, mechanical experience a plus.
    • High School Diploma or GED.
    • Intermediate computer literacy and ability to type 25 words per minute; exceptional customer service and communication skills; ability to multitask and handle high email volume; ability to work scheduled shift and mirror shop holiday schedule.
    • Ability to lead a team of employees to ensure that our customer’s needs are being met.
