The Title Examiner will examine residential real estate title to identify defects and matters that must be cured prior to a closing by reviewing a title search prepared by a company abstractor or a search package prepared by an external vendor. The examiner may also be asked to research other public records, analyze data, and prepare title insurance and other title reports. If qualified, the examiner may also be asked to review title searches on commercial property.
