Hours: Full-time (40 hours per week)

Work days: Monday - Friday

Day-time Shifts: 

• 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM

Job Site Locations (options): Manhattan, Queens, Bronx, Harlem & Midtown

Wage: $21.00 (depending on qualifications, experience and location)

Benefits: After 90 days (first of the month) of continuous work for 35 hours each week, you will qualify for health insurance, performance bonuses and benefits. 

Duties and Responsibilities 

• Perform janitorial duties and oversee other cleaners do the same
• Oversee cleaners performing litter pickup in outdoor common areas and sidewalks
• Oversee cleaners performing sweeping sidewalks
• Oversee cleaners removing and replacing trash bags in trash can
• Oversee cleaners sweeping and mopping interior floors
• Oversee cleaners cleaning and maintaining the interior and exterior of city-owned properties
• Enforcing company policies and quality standards
• Drive a truck

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must have at least 1 year recent janitorial experience
• Should have at least 1 year recent managerial/supervisory experience
• Must have a working phone that is able to download three mobile apps used to complete the job
• Must be a New York City resident and ideally possess a New York City Drivers License 
• Must pass a background check - Mandatory before starting work
• Must pass a drug test
• Must be in good physical condition and health, without mental or physical disabilities or impairments which would reasonably be expected to interfere with the performance of the services or prevent you from being able to walk your assigned route
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions (rain, snow, sleet, heat, cold)
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Must be age 18 or over 
• Must have a demonstrated record of satisfactory attendance and punctuality
• Must at least 2 years of driving experience in New York City, have a great driving record, and be able to pass driving test
