We are looking for a 1st shift Inventory Control Specialist to join our team!

The Inventory Control Specialist is a critical role within the Warehouse that monitors inventory accuracy and levels. Employ leadership, analytical, and investigative skills to identify root causes of inventory inaccuracy and develop corrective actions and processes to improve accuracy.

This role will build strong partnerships and operate cross functionally across the plant. This role does not have direct reports but is responsible for supervising the process while working closely with the Warehouse Manager.

This is a non-union position.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop an understanding of, and capability to use, Klements inventory management systems
• Monitor and ensure inventory accuracy via oversight and analysis of transactions, within and outside of the department
• Accurately record and document inventory data as needed
• Develop, implement, and update inventory control procedures, policies, and documentation to support accuracy, minimize losses, and control costs.
• Support procurement team by monitoring and analyzing inventory levels and customer purchase trends to ensure goals are met and inventory is always available.
• Supervise, coordinate, and provide leadership for physical and cycle count inventories
• Provide guidance and leadership to the inventory staff for raw material duties and best practices
• Effectively communicate with teammates and management, both internal to the warehouse and cross functional, about raw materials, including preparing and submitting reports as needed
• Responsible for keeping a clean and organized work environment.
• Assist in team development through training new hires, transfers and providing training updates to long-term employees.
• Enforce HACCP, GMPs, Safety, Quality and other company procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education

Associates degree preferred or relevant experience.

Experience and Training

Previous experience with warehouse inventory systems and ERP

Knowledge of Warehouse Best Practices

Strong reading comprehension and writing ability

Basic math understanding

Technology / Equipment

Experience working within Microsoft Office Suite

Self-starter with demonstrated initiative

Job Type : Full-time

Salary : $24.00 Hourly, Negotiable depending on experience

Schedule : 8 hour shift

8 hour shift

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
