We are looking for a 1st shift Inventory Control Specialist to join our team!
The Inventory Control Specialist is a critical role within the Warehouse that monitors inventory accuracy and levels. Employ leadership, analytical, and investigative skills to identify root causes of inventory inaccuracy and develop corrective actions and processes to improve accuracy.
This role will build strong partnerships and operate cross functionally across the plant. This role does not have direct reports but is responsible for supervising the process while working closely with the Warehouse Manager.
This is a non-union position.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education
Associates degree preferred or relevant experience.
Experience and Training
Previous experience with warehouse inventory systems and ERP
Knowledge of Warehouse Best Practices
Strong reading comprehension and writing ability
Basic math understanding
Technology / Equipment
Experience working within Microsoft Office Suite
Characteristics
Strong problem-solving abilities
Strong foresight to identify opportunities for improvement
Strong communicator both verbally and written
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Self-starter with demonstrated initiative
Detail Oriented
