- 40 hours/week. Rotating shifts.
- shared housing will be provided (no pets, no overnight guests, no smoking)
- Pay: $28/hr.
The primary purpose of this position is to receive process and schedule patients.
Tasks include preparing paperwork, filing, entering orders and scheduling patients into EPIC, tracking unread exams, verifying pre-authorizations for MRI, CT, and other modalities as necessary.
EXPERIENCE: ·
- Three years’ experience in medical office/hospital environment required ·
- Strong computer skills required ·
- Familiar with radiology terminology and modalities strongly preferred. ·
- Knowledge of EPIC programs strongly preferred.
DELEGATION OF AUTHORITY:
- As a Department Secretary, you are delegated the administrative authority, responsibility and accountability necessary for carrying out your assigned duties.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: ·
- High school Diploma (prefer more advanced degree) · Medical terminology
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
