EDUCATION
- High School diploma or GED required
- Must be able to read, write legibly, speak clearly and understand the English language.
- Preferred successful completion of Medical Assistant School/Program or comparable training within related discipline.
- Medical Assistant experience in an ambulatory setting preferred
- A minimum of 6 months employment in an ambulatory physician practice setting in the last 3 years preferred
- BLS required at time of hire, or must be obtained within 90 days of start date
- Must meet 1 of the following within 1 year of employment if not completed prior to hire date: o Enrollment in program to enhance MA skills:
- Registered (RMA)
- Certified (CMA)
- Certified Clinical MA (CCMA
