Job Description
- Record and reconcile customer payments in the accounting system.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies or issues related to accounts receivable.
- Professionally communicate with customers regarding payment status and resolve any billing inquiries.
- Monitor and follow up on overdue accounts to ensure timely payments.
- Collaborate with internal teams to address and resolve billing-related issues.
- Assist in the month-end closing process by providing relevant financial data.
- Support the finance team in various ad hoc projects and tasks.
- · High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in accounting or finance is a plus.
- · Proven experience as an Accounts Receivable Clerk or in a similar role.
- · Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices.
- · Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Excel (proficiency in NetSuite a plus)
- · Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- · Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- · Effective communication and interpersonal abilities. This is critical.
- · Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- · Familiarity with customer service principles and practices.
