FirstDigital Communications, an industry-leading telecommunications services company, is seeking a part-time Accounts Receivable/Payable Clerk to join our team. Job Summary

As the Accounts Receivable/Payable Clerk for FirstDigital you will report to the Finance and Accounting Manager. Within the accounting organization you will be part of an exciting team of professionals performing all aspects of accounting and finance. Responsibilities

• You will be responsible for assisting with various accounting tasks related to the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
• Monitor customer AR accounts and incoming payments.
• Process, verify, post, and record AR data in billing and accounting systems.
• Sort incoming mail for AR checks to process through lockbox.
• Respond to and resolve clients’ remittance and/or payment application issues and questions.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
• Accurately review, code and process vendor invoices.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies or issues.

Qualifications and Skills

• Degree in accounting, finance, or related field not required, but preferred.
• Minimum 2 years in a similar role preferred.
• Strong analytical skills, typing, and computer skills. Strong excel knowledge is a plus.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills sufficient to negotiate resolutions and enlist support, cooperation, and assistance from others.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently with little supervision.
• Ability to operate with a high degree of accuracy, urgency, and flexibility.
• Professional aptitude with customers in all forms of communication.
• Ability to cope with interruptions, change and unrelated details while maintaining appropriate priority of projects and tasks.

Pay and Benefits

• Compensation range $18-22/hour, based on experience.
