Job Summary:
The Assistant Hospitality Manager will be responsible for managing hospitality associates in one dining room for the Tampa Bay Rays professional baseball operation in Port Charlotte, FL. This will include client communications, dining room service, responsibility for the 'Front of House' and collaboration with the chef team and 'Back of House' operations.
This position reports to the Hospitality Manager.
**End of season BONUS**
Seasonal full-time job until mid April 2024
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide "Best in Class" hospitality for our high-profile client, including excellent manners and interpersonal skills
- Supervise front of the house team; maintain excellent communication with Hospitality manager and team
- Manage an exceptional visual presentation and cleanliness in food service area
- Sweep, mop, scrub as needed, as well as clean floors, shelves, surfaces, equipment, etc.
- Check and refill all supplies that clients use daily
- Communicate all needs through the Hospitality Manager
- Ensure dining area is clean, organized, and well-stocked
- Cover and date food when storing to ensure freshness and safety
- Ensure hot food temperatures are within safe range and records temps
Qualifications:
- 3 years customer service experience
- Previous experience as a lead, supervisor, or manager
- Excellent hospitality skills, professional demeanor, and a service-first attitude
- Extreme attention to detail
- Ability to anticipate client needs and fulfill them
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment, safe sanitary practices, and culinary skills
Work Schedule:
- Early mornings to early afternoons
