Job Description
The Lead Resident Assistant @ Byron Park meets community residents’ needs by helping with activities of daily living and coordinating services to residents.
This is a full-time position, Tuesday-Saturday, 2pm-10:30pm.
Pay range: $22-23/hr
Hiring bonus: $500
*Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Caregiver in ALF or SNF*
What will I do every day?
- Observe and monitor residents for any changes in condition
- Assure distribution of meal trays and assist with serving and clearing of all tables after meals
- Assist or provide supervision for residents performing activities of daily living
- Perform the following tasks: vital signs, weight, diabetic testing and/or insulin injections, medication assistance, ambulation, and other activities
- Support and lead resident-centered wellness program activities
- Monitor medication cart/storage on a weekly basis
- Implement required new hire training and ongoing skills training for associates
- As well as perform other related duties as required
What will I need to be successful in this role?

- High school education preferred
- Leadership experience in a team setting
- Nursing assistant course a plus
- Must be 21 years of age (or meet State requirements)
- Must have worked in an Assisted Living or Skilled Nursing Facility (ALF or SNF) for a minimum of 3 years
Special Requirements/Certifications I may need?
- First Aid certification and CPR, if required
- Must be able to meet state training requirements and/or certifications
- Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA) a plus
- Must have worked in an Assisted Living or Skilled Nursing Facility (ALF or SNF) for a minimum of 3 years
