Overview

This role is perfect for a strategic thinker who has experience conceptualizing creative and using qualitative and quantitative insights to guide their work.

  • A big ideas person, you are able and eager to brainstorm collectively as well as individually to create social content that is fresh, exciting and creative and to deliver social campaigns that bring our stories to life in effective, creative, and authentic ways.
  • The ideal candidate has professional experience creating and directing content across all marketing channels
  • This individual should be savvy in commerce integrations with content and blended retailer/affiliate models and is experienced in working within the talent and creator landscape

Responsibilities

  • Ideate, manage, and lead content planning across all owned and paid channels – in particular email content planning
  • Manage marketing coordinators
  • Develop brand strategy, provide guidance with social media campaigns and tactical plans
  • Manage paid social and budget optimizations
  • Ideate, author and oversee social media content creation
  • Define and develop comprehensive social performance goals to optimize social media efforts on a daily basis
  • Leverage learnings to provide vertical-specific tactics and strategic pivots as necessary
  • Track, report and analyze campaign results to determine audience behavior and engagement and ensure that insights are integrated into current and future campaign strategies
  • Present strategies, analysis and key learnings regularly to senior leadership and various stakeholders
  • Identify industry trends, relevant news and other opportunities to increase Kirkland's Home share of voice in the space
  • Champions and demonstrates a commitment to Kirkland’s Values

Qualifications

  • 5-7 years’ experience running brand or digital marketing
  • Experience maintaining and growing social audiences across multiple platforms, particularly Instagram, YouTube and TikTok
  • Self-starter and creative thinker with astute attention to detail, you are proactive and able to work on tight deadlines, you take initiative
  • Well-versed in current and emerging social platforms, their products and trends
  • An eye for visual design and ability to capture and curate best-in-class social content
  • Strong written and editorial skills, quick decision-making skills
  • Positive, collaborative team player
  • Experience using social media marketing tools like Emplifi, Sprinklr, Sprout Social, Later
  • Ability to work at a computer for extended period of time
