KIRK EXCAVATING & CONSTRUCTION INC is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that will drive informed business decisions. Your expertise in data extraction, manipulation, and analysis will be crucial in providing meaningful reports and recommendations to management.
Responsibilities
- Collect and analyze large data sets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and provide data-driven solutions.
- Develop and maintain databases and data systems necessary for data analysis and reporting.
- Create and implement data models, algorithms, and statistical methodologies for accurate analysis.
- Identify and implement effective data visualization techniques to communicate findings to different audiences.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize data collection processes and ensure data integrity.
- Present reports and findings to management in a clear and concise manner.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven working experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in the construction or engineering industry.
- Proficiency in advanced statistical analysis tools, such as R or Python.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Experience in data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Proficient in SQL and database management, with the ability to query and extract data.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
