Kirby Risk Precision Machining is now hiring for a Production Manager in Lafayette, IN.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Coaching/developing a cross-trained production team
- Meet customer demands with high quality workmanship
- Daily production management
- Resolve customer requests for corrective action
- Conducts production meetings establishing daily goals and objectives
- Establishes standards for a clean and safe work environment
- Emulate the Kirby Risk Values and Principles
- Build a strong sense of pride among the production team
- Supports Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma concepts to further continuous improvement
- Executes production schedules
- College degree in Management, or related area, or equivalent 5-7 years’ work experience
- Proven management/supervisory skills
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills, attention to detail; ability to handle multiple tasks/priorities
- Flexibility to support multi shift operation
- Basic understanding of Lean business principles and Kaizen
- Basic understanding of Six Sigma business philosophy
