The School Operations Associate (SOA) is a school based position that ensures students, families, and staff have the information and resources they need to succeed. The SOA supports the day-to-day operations procedures that allow the school to run efficiently and effectively. Key ResponsibilitiesAssists with the implementation of the day-to-day school based operations policies and proceduresImplements the Great 8 procedures such as arrival and dismissalCaptures all transportation changes from parentsSupports with school based strategies to ensure kids are in seatsSupports application verification calls and updates application system as neededSupports school events and activities as neededSupports school attendance process and maintenance of attendance recordsMakes daily attendance calls based on guidance from Attendance and PEIMS SpecialistDocuments all attendance changes and corrects attendance dataEnsures clear and effective communications with all community members and stakeholdersEnsures all parent facing materials are readily availableSchedules parent meetings with appropriate team membersManages all phone calls coming into the school and from the Campus ReceptionistsPrepares and sends school specific family communicationQualificationsUnwavering commitment to the KIPP Texas mission, core values and willingness to go above and beyond to meet the needs of KIPP Texas students, families, and staffBilingual; English & Spanish requiredSense of humility, customer service mindset, and shows urgency and the ability to proactively solve problems and make decisions quicklyStrong communication and time management skills; ability to effectively backwards plan, juggle multiple priorities with great attention to detail, and deliver consistent and timely resultsTeam player with strong interpersonal and stakeholder management and relationship building skillsAbility to be calm under pressure, especially in difficult conversations with parents and staffDesire to continuously learn and evolve as a professionalAdditional InformationCompensation and Benefits:Salary is based on years of experience, degree of education, and level of expertise.As a full time KIPP Texas employee you are eligible to participate in all KIPP Texas’ benefit plans.
