SUMMARY OF POSITION 

Kinsley is seeking a qualified Quality Control Technician for our Precast Plant in York, PA. The Quality Control Technician will be responsible for conducting precast concrete inspections and ensuring precast concrete pieces meet quality standards.

A successful candidate should have prior quality control experience, a willingness to learn and high attention to detail.

TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Conduct precast concrete inspections to identify any defects or mistakes.
• Monitor work for compliance with approved specifications and shop drawings.
• Perform standard testing on concrete samples (slump tests, compression tests, and moisture content tests).
• Use special tools to measure sizes, thickness, and other traits of precast elements.
• Keep a daily log of precast concrete inspection activities and complete daily reports.
• Perform other related duties as assigned to support the Precast Plant.

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous experience in quality control, preferably in a precast concrete construction environment.
• Must possess or willing to obtain ACI Certification.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform precise measurements and inspections.
• Skilled in using testing gears, tools, and software for quality control.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
