Summary:

Assist with submission clearance adhering to the Company guidelines. Book and issue all policies and endorsements for assigned underwriting divisions. Process all Company and Premium Finance cancellations and reinstatement requests according to corporate guidelines. Absorb other responsibilities on an ongoing and/or ad-hoc basis as requested by manager. 

Day to Day Responsibilities:  

• Accurately clear submissions within 15 minutes of receipt.
• Attach all subsequent underwriting information and flag all prior submissions to the appropriate file for underwriter review.
• Return all submissions for unapproved brokerages or when missing information.
• Complete policy issuance within five business days of referral.
• Book and process endorsements within 1-3 days of receipt.
• Process Company and Premium Finance cancellations and reinstatement requests as per published guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned. 

 QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Two to five years of data entry or related experience required
• Two to five years of related insurance experience preferred
• High degree of accuracy and efficiency in data entry
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Detail-oriented with initiative and ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
