Kino School is hiring! We're currently seeking qualified candidates for a full-time History Teacher who is passionate about education and learning for the 2024-2025 school year.

Responsibilities:

• Teach 3 High School (9th-12th grade) courses, including World History and U.S. History
• Teach 2 Junior High (6th-8th grade) Social Studies courses
• Perform rotating lunch duty and playground monitoring as needed
• Encourage a positive learning environment for all children
• Collaborate with other passionate teachers to implement an engaging and developmentally appropriate curriculum
• Respect and observe children's interests
• Encourage and model social behavior and expectations which are developmentally appropriate
• Maintain regular, full, predictable attendance (8:30am-3:00pm M-F)
• Attend a summer in-service and weekly staff meetings
• Attend major community events

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in subject matter
• Valid Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a school environment or with children
• High level of flexibility
• Excellent leadership, human relations, and interpersonal skills
• Self-starter, well-organized, and a team player

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in subject matter or education
• Current AZ Teaching Certificate
