• Perform initial nursing screening and appropriate clinical assessment on all persons who present for an evaluation.
• Perform the nurse-to-nurse screen for all patients transferred in or out of the Admissions Department.
• Perform and document all pre-certifications on all admissions.
• Document calls and related information on Intake form and enters data into computer system.
• Administer medications as ordered by the physician should the need occur

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas required.
• Minimum of two (2) years related experience required. Psychiatric nursing experience is preferred.
• CPR and HWC Crisis Intervention training must be completed prior to beginning work.
• Hours: Must be available to work the following shift: 7 AM - 7:30 PM (Weekends)
  Must be available to attend the full orientation: Week 1: Monday - Friday 8 AM - 5 PM Week 2: M & Tu 9 AM - 5 PM
