Seasonal Operations Manager (Rooms Division)
Overview : This position provides overall leadership for Rooms Division to include: Front Desk, Transportation, Housekeeping, Laundry and Maintenance. Reports to the Director of Rooms through the months of May through October.
Responsibilities:
•Works with Housekeeping Manager to ensure room times are flipped in a timely manner
•Ensures that resort guest feedback is accurately tracked, monitored and evaluated to ensure high scores in Medallia
•Coordinate with Sales Team and banquet staff to make sure conference space is ready for current and upcoming groups and guests
•Completes regular property walks to make sure all things are in place and communicate with each department with your findings
•Provides immediate support to each department as needed.
•Resolves issues with other departments inside area of responsibility
•Performs other duties as assigned, such as work the Front Desk, inspect rooms, shuttle guests, ETC
Qualifications:
•Ability to make decisions and work without supervision
•Possesses strong leadership and communication skills
•Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
•Must have professional presentation as an ambassador of the company serving as a property leader.
•Must have the ability to enforce operating policies and procedures in an effective and courteous manner.
•Ability to work days, nights, weekends, holidays
