Eastern State Hospital, located in Williamsburg, Virginia, was founded in 1773, with a well-intentional emphasis on community focused mental health care. This state of the art campus, situated on 500 acres, consists of two patient care buildings with 300 patients, and a highly skilled staff of over 900. Eastern State Hospital is part of the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services (DBHDS) system, and is accredited by the Joint Commission.
ESH invites applications for the position of Computer Support Specialist in our MIS Department.
This position will provide technical support to the facilities 850 users. Support will be delivered in the areas of hardware, software applications and account management. Support will include 580 computers, 100 printers, 400 iPads and mobile devices, and the creation, suspension and deprovisioning of 850 user accounts.

Minimum Qualifications

• Prior experience with some or all of the following systems: Automated systems, personal computer and network technologies, databases, learning management systems, mobile devices, online learning tools, printers, and peripherals (PDA's, scanners, modems, CD/DVD drivers, etc.) is required.
• Experience with a variety of software applications (e.g. word processing, spreadsheet, email, Intranet, web browsers, HTML editors, and image manipulation software.

Additional Considerations

• College-level coursework or training in a computer related discipline is preferred, relevant experience may substitute for coursework.
