Kings is looking for experienced, energetic Culinary Managers!

A Kings’ Culinary Manager is responsible for the day to day operations of a fast-paced, quality driven kitchen with integrity, a strong work ethic, a sense of urgency, and a passion for food. The Culinary Manager uses the various tools and routines provided as guidelines to ensure their team is operating at levels described by these tools and motivates their team to produce results with integrity.

Culinary Manager Responsibilities:

  • Hosts or participates in daily pre-meals, weekly manager meetings, team member coaching, and corrective action.
  • Attends regular meetings with the marketing and sales team to review upcoming events.
  • Ensures team member paperwork, onboarding, orientation, certifications, and training materials are completed and understood.
  • Ensures all team members have the most up to date recipes and spec books
  • Reviews the “10 Culinary Leadership Routines” and ensure their execution for the day.
  • Monitors and executes all reservations and events to be prepared for and to capitalize on all sales opportunities.
  • Analyzes daily and weekly food feedback and coaches the culinary team on this feedback through pre-meal, one on ones, and team meetings.
  • Reviews kitchen sheets for upcoming events, allergies, special menus, or requests.
  • Confirms accurate punches for the previous and current day in POSI based on scheduled in and out times.
  • Reconciles and maintains all department purchases, invoices, and credits.
  • Ensures prep and par guides are updated as business dictates.
  • Confirms correct dating and labeling on all product.
  • Ensures that line checks are done accurately and the use fresh quality ingredients at all times.
  • Manages purchases and ensures all items are ordered and received on time.
  • Ensures proper expo set-up and focuses on being “Built for Speed”.
