King Steel is Hiring a Production Operator Near Holly, MI
Production Saw operations
We are currently looking to hire a teammate for 1st shift (7 AM to 3 PM) on our production line.
The starting wage is $16.00 per hour and is based on experience, which means it CAN be higher.
Third shift position is also eligible for a shift premium!
- Warehouse experience is a plus but is not required
- Established safety and housekeeping awareness
- Maintain organizational and time management skills
- Steel cutting experience / knowledge is a plus
- Computer literacy / PLEX experience is preferred
- Must have reliable and or consistent transportation
- Ability to maintain long periods of standing and bending
- Abilities to lift 5-10 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift
- Desire to work in a team environment, and with a sense of urgency
- Candidates should have a mechanical mindset with the capacity to learn new machinery
- Be able to identify material by use of reading tags, and corresponding paperwork
Applicants should be willing and able to perform other duties as assigned (help in other areas), while maintaining a good positive attitude and attendance.
