**Job Title:** Cashier

**Job Type:** Full-time/Part-time

**Overview:**

We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and detail-oriented Cashier to join our team at King Wok, a popular Chinese takeout and delivery restaurant. The Cashier will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, handling transactions, and ensuring the smooth operation of the front counter.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their orders.

- Accurately enter orders into the point-of-sale (POS) system.

- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions, ensuring correct change and receipts are given.

- Answer phone calls and take delivery orders in a polite and efficient manner.

- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the front counter and customer waiting area.

- Assist in packaging takeout and delivery orders as needed.

- Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints in a professional manner.

- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure orders are completed accurately and timely.

- Perform basic cleaning tasks and assist with restocking supplies.

**Qualifications:**

- Ability to speak Spanish is preferred but not required.

- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Previous experience in a customer service or cashier role is preferred but not required.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to handle transactions accurately and responsibly.

- Basic math skills.

- Proficiency in using POS systems and other related technology.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

**Physical Requirements:**

- Ability to stand for extended periods.

- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.

- Comfortable working in a restaurant environment with exposure to heat, noise, and odors.
