PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

* Responsible for supporting the Head of Sourcing in executing direct material strategies, working closely with internal stakeholders within the operations, sales, marketing, and other cross-functional teams

* Responsible for category supplier management, working with supply partners to optimize King's Hawaiian end to end supply chain

* Able to effectively develop and execute RFP's

* Responsible for providing annual KBRs (key business reviews) with category supplier base

* Support planning and execution of annual supplier summit

* Responsible for managing KPIs and QA scorecard assessments of suppliers through updated supplier profiles

* Foster and maintain strong internal and external relationships

* Responsible for developing cohesive cost analysis tools across sourcing to measure and manage spend, demand, volume, and risk across areas of direct materials

* Responsible for providing monthly and quarterly commodity cost analysis, PPV reports, and annual cost savings tracker

* Support strategic contract negotiations as required, inform business functions of all contract and pricing updates and track cost changes against budget

* Work with QA to support all SQF guidelines and supplier requirements, track QA Supplier Corrective Action Requests and associated refunds, and assist in QA supplier set up documentation management as required

* Develop and maintain activity schedule for all new core product development and ideation projects that require new ingredients or packaging changes. Supporting project management teams to meet marketing objectives for new product launch Classified - Confidential

* Support Head of Sourcing on ad hoc requests as necessary

QUALIFICATIONS

* Must have an undergraduate business degree, prefer MBA or similar master's degree in business

* 5-10 years procurement and/or supply chain finance experience

* Advanced ability to develop and manage spend analytics and build statistical and financial tools that provide accurate analytics and measures

* Sourcing experience direct material management, ingredients, and/or packaging

* Must have prior experience in developing and executing against an RFP of direct materials

* Strong technical ability to develop statistical and modeling tools to measure risk and cost

* Experience in contract negotiations and supplier management

* Knowledge of value chain mapping, sourcing flow from ideation to product launch in a consumer goods environment

* Advanced working knowledge of Excel

* Working knowledge of MRP, SAP, or related business intelligence and ERP sourcing systems

* Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office suite (Project, PowerPoint, Word)

* Highly organized individual with initiative, problem-solving and critical thinking skills, and excellent time management capabilities

* Strong written and oral communication skills with the proven ability to apply influence and work collaboratively

* Ability to present to and interact with all levels of the company

* Must be able to analyze/interpret data and take appropriate action

* Working knowledge of email, Internet Explorer, Excel, and Access
