As a Caregiver, you will play a pivotal role in empowering our clients to live fulfilling lives in the comfort of their own homes. Your compassionate and attentive care will assist individuals with various activities, including personal care, medication management, meal preparation, light housekeeping, transportation, and companionship. By providing reliable and compassionate support, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the well-being and happiness of those you care for.

What are the must haves (aka minimum requirements)

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid Driver’s License
• Reliable transportation with current registration and auto insurance (liability minimum)
• Physical stamina - ability to lift/push/pull 50 lbs.
• Excellent communication skills
• Reliable and compassionate nature, demonstrating dependability, empathy, and trustworthiness.
• Prior experience in a similar role or a strong passion for caregiving is preferred.

Tell me about the job duties (aka key responsibilities but not all encompassing)

• Provide compassionate and individualized care to clients in accordance with their care plans and preferences.
• Monitor and report any changes in clients' physical or emotional well-being to the appropriate supervisor.
• Administer medication reminders and assist with medication management as directed.
• Support clients with mobility and transfers, ensuring their safety and comfort.
• Assist with personal care activities, such as bathing, grooming, toileting, dressing, and physical therapy exercises.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks, including laundry, tidying up, and maintaining a clean and organized environment.
• Provide support with shopping activities, including accompanying clients to stores, assisting with selecting items, and carrying groceries or packages.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided.
