As a Caregiver, you will play a pivotal role in empowering our clients to lead fulfilling lives within the comfort of their own homes. Your compassionate and attentive care will encompass a range of activities, including personalized care, medication management, meal preparation, light housekeeping, transportation, and companionship. By providing reliable and compassionate support, you will have the opportunity to significantly impact the well-being and happiness of those you care for.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation with current registration and auto insurance (minimum liability)
- Physical stamina - ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs
- Exceptional communication abilities.
- Reliable and compassionate nature, demonstrating dependability, empathy, and trustworthiness
- Prior experience in a similar role or a strong passion for caregiving is preferred
Responsibilities (not all-encompassing):
- Provide compassionate and personalized care based on clients' care plans and preferences
- Monitor and report any changes in clients' physical or emotional well-being to the appropriate supervisor
- Administer medication reminders and support medication management as directed
- Ensure client safety and comfort by assisting with mobility and transfers
- Assist with personal care activities such as bathing, grooming, toileting, dressing, and physical therapy exercises
- Maintain a clean and organized environment through light housekeeping tasks, including laundry and tidying up
- Accompany clients on shopping trips, offering assistance in selecting items and carrying groceries or packages
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of the care provided
